day one - you've been fucke(d)
oh hello loves (:i wanted to write this at work. but in my precarious position - work station back-facing my manager, i've been advised not to. it's very bad fengshui.
today. day one - a whole lot of corporate phoniness. phony smiles, phony name cards with fancy phony titles. i sound like holden caulfied (in my last few chapters of catcher in the rye) reveling in the oddness of everything big and crazy. i enjoyed watching my colleagues' stunned reactions with amusement when i said about having a 'kind boss'. they must think my honeymoon days are numbered.
even if work should consume me, i imagine mastering the art of cc and bcc must be scrupulously fun. crafting an aggressive mail must be unscrupulously fun too. one of my tchs alumnus director wore a crap tee, khaki berms (think: tchs shorts) havis to work (like cargo-mover!) , constantly hounding me to hound a client. how can i possibly call a person once every 15mins? that's almost psychotic.
anyway, this is day one. i rode in my boss's fast and selfish car. interesting, interesting.
